Regular Cancellation and Refund Timeline

Over 72 Hours Prior to Charter

100% Refund

Eligible for: Complete refund excluding processing fees

Processing Duration: 5-7 business days

Processing Charge: €50 for credit card transactions

Requirements: Must be requested via written communication through email or telephone

Between 24 to 72 Hours Before Charter

50% Refund

Eligible for: Half the total cost of the charter

Processing Duration: 7-10 business days

Processing Charge: €25 subtracted from the refund

Requirements: Valid justification needed; subject to administrative expenses

Less than 24 Hours Prior to Charter

No Refund

Eligible for: No refund possible

Exception: Consideration may be given to emergency situations

Alternative: Option of charter credit may be given at the discretion of the management

Requirements: Proof needed for emergency circumstances

Cancellations Due to Weather

Our Guarantee Regarding Weather

Your safety is our first concern. In cases where the charter conditions are considered unsafe due to weather by our licensed captain, we offer adaptable options:

  • Complete Refund: Full refund provided if rescheduling is infeasible
  • Reschedule: Alter your charter to another available slot without extra costs
  • Charter Credit: Issue of credit that is valid for one year from the original charter date

Method of Weather Evaluation

Our weather evaluation procedure includes:

  • Inspecting wind speeds and directions
  • Assessing wave heights and sea conditions
  • Predicting visibility and rainfall
  • Heeding Coast Guard advisories and warnings
  • Qualified captain's safety assessment

Timing for Decision: Decisions about weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours before the planned departure.

Refunds in Medical Emergencies

Exceptional Medical Situations

We recognize that medical emergencies can unexpectedly happen. The following incidents may be eligible for special refund considerations:

  • Sudden medical conditions or injuries that take one to the hospital
  • Passing of a close family member
  • Urgent military summons or recall
  • Imperative jury service or legal demands
  • Natural catastrophes impacting travel plans

Proof Needed

To handle requests for refunds in emergency situations, please submit:

  • Official medical documentation or hospital records
  • A death certificate when applicable
  • Military orders officially issued
  • Jury summons or legal subpoena
  • Advisories for travel or declarations of emergency

Procedure: Emergency refund requests are processed within 3-5 working days after receiving the necessary documentation.

Cancellations for Operational Reasons

Technical Malfunctions

If the vessel assigned to you encounters technical difficulties that cannot be fixed timely:

  • Another Boat: We will make an effort to provide a similar replacement
  • Full Refund: In case no comparable substitute is accessible
  • Partial Refund: If the replacement vessel has different price considerations
  • Reparations: Additional recompense might be offered for the inconvenience caused

Unavailability of the Crew

In the uncommon event of unavailable qualified crew:

  • A substitute crew will be arranged when feasible
  • Full refund if the charter cannot occur
  • Opportunity to reschedule with no added fees

Processing Refunds

Approach for Repayment

Refunds are initiated back to the original form of payment that was used for the booking:

  • Credit Cards: Approximately takes 5-7 working days
  • Bank Transfers: Approximately takes 7-10 working days
  • Cash/Cheque: Approximately takes 3-5 working days

Processing for Credit Card

€50 fee for cancellations with a notice period exceeding 72 hours

Processing for Bank Transfers

€25 fee applicable for all bank transfer refunds

Processing Internationally

Extra fees could be incurred for international financial transactions

Credits for Charter

Scenarios for Offering Credits

In some cases, instead of refunds, credits for the charter may be provided:

  • Late cancellations within less than 24-hour notice
  • Cancellations due to weather conditions
  • Willing changes in the reservation details
  • Operational disruptions

Terms for Credits

  • Validity: Valid for one year from the date of issuance
  • Non-transferable: Credits cannot be handed to other individuals
  • Amount: Equal to the full value of the charter without fees for processing
  • Applicability: Can be applied to any charter that's available
  • Expiration: No renewals after 12 months

Refunds for Partial Services

Interruptions During Service

If your charter experience is impacted or curtailed due to issues we have control over:

  • Refund calculated prorata based on the services not used
  • Credit equivalent to future charter
  • Complimentary upgrades or other services

Interruptions Caused by the Guest

If a charter must be concluded earlier due to the actions or safety breach by the guest:

  • No refund for the time not utilized
  • Complete payment is to be settled
  • Incurred additional fees may be applied

Resolving Disputes

In case of disagreement with a decision on a refund, you may:

  • Submit a request for reassessment to our management
  • Present further evidence or documentation
  • Reach out to consumer protection authorities for a solution
  • Utilize any legal channels under applicable legislation

Upon submission, we will recognize your request within a day, assess it in reference to this policy, communicate the outcome within 2 days, and proceed with endorsed refunds as per the outlined timelines.

Important Considerations

  • All requests for refunds need to be provided in writing
  • Refund transactions are processed in € irrespective of the original currency used for payment
  • We highly recommend obtaining travel insurance
  • This policy holds the possibility of modifications with notice provided 30 days prior
  • Refund actions are in compliance with appropriate taxes and legal regulations
